Channels
A channel is the top-level organizational unit in FanFest. It represents your brand, sports club, or content property and serves as the container for all your fan engagement activities.
What a Channel Contains
Every piece of content and configuration in FanFest lives within a channel:
- Communities -- Sub-groups that segment your audience (learn more)
- Shows -- Live interactive sessions with streaming, chat, and contests (learn more)
- Contests -- Quizzes, raffles, and polls that drive participation (learn more)
- Threads -- Community discussion posts (learn more)
- Leaderboards -- Competitive fan rankings based on points (learn more)
- Memberships -- Tiered access levels with optional paid subscriptions (learn more)
Channel Page Structure
Your channel page is what fans see when they visit. It displays a hero section with your banner and logo, followed by configurable content sections.

Hero Section
The top of the channel page features:
- Banner image -- A wide background image (1640x600 px minimum)
- Channel logo -- Square image displayed over the banner (256x256 px minimum)
- Channel description -- Your tagline or brand name
- Member count -- Shows the total number of fans who have joined, with top leaderboard avatars
Content Sections
Below the hero, the channel page displays content in configurable sections. Each section can be toggled on or off:
| Section | Content Shown |
|---|---|
| Community Feed | Recent activity stream -- latest shows, contests, and interactions |
| Shows | Upcoming and past shows with thumbnails and scheduling information |
| Contests | Active quizzes, raffles, and polls |
| Leaderboard | Top-ranked fans for the current period |
| Threads | Community discussion posts with reply counts |
The order of sections on the channel page can be configured by administrators. When a community is selected, shows, contests, and threads filter to display only content relevant to that community.
